Barndominiums

Juniper Hill Barndominiums based in Amarillo, TX.

Juniper Hill Ranch Barndominiums can help you bring your dreams to life. We work with you to design and then build your custom barndominium.

It all begins with a design. If you have a dream and an idea, we can build it for you. If you are unsure or need some help, we have some standard blueprints to get you started. Our standard blueprints are altered to your preferences and specifications. These company owned blueprints are only a starting point. At Juniper Hill Ranch, we do not reproduce any homes. Each is a custom build. During the design process, Juniper Hill Ranch owns your design. Once you finalize the design, it is sent to the architect. At this point, you will make your first deposit. The architect will create your blueprints and building can begin. Once your building is complete, you take possession of your blueprints.

Standard floor plans offer footage and general home specifications. For example, we offer a 5,000 square foot building. It has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The side walls of this build are fourteen feet. From there, we go to a 10,000 square foot home. Under one roof, you could have living quarters of two to three bedrooms, a large barn, a garage, and a chef's patio for entertaining. For a grander option, there is our Horse Lover's Dream plan. This floorplan offers 4,000 square feet for you to customize. It includes a horse barn. A breeding facility with a grain and tack room is completed with foaling stalls and a starting arena. The living area includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a private patio off the kitchen and master suite. Of course everything can be expanded and customized to create the home you are dreaming of.

At Juniper Hill Ranch Barndominiums, we take great pride in constructing welded steel I-beam buildings. We build not only homes, but commercial warehouses and agricultural buildings. We can accommodate whatever size building you want or need. It is important to understand that there are some limitations when considering a building within city limits. Lot size and building regulations limit the size of your building. Rural buildings are often built on more acreage and therefore have less restrictions on building size.

Our base price does not include two large variables. One is your well. Depending on the location of your property, this could be less or more expensive. The other variable is the pad. For most buyers the pad is an unknown and unexpected expense. One slight change, small or large, can change the pad costs by ten thousand dollars.

Juniper Hill Ranch Barndominiums works to ensure the most secure pad before pouring your slab and foundation. The pad is laid. Then it is compacted. After compacting, it is tested for hardness. Once the pad is set, the slab and foundation are poured. We use a monolithic pour. This means we pour the slab, footing, and piers at the same time. We tie everything with rebar steel to ensure the strongest possible bond. Weld plates are sunk with eighteen inch grapples into the pier. Each pier is 3x3x3 feet square. It's all tied with the footings and slab and poured together. The reason we use this method is to provide a more solid foundation. With a solid foundation, we can prevent gaps in the foundation that would allow moisture to damage the structure. It also prevents potential cracking and settling in the foundation.

Juniper Hill Ranch Barndominiums provides you with a quality experience from start to finish. We will work with you through each phase of the process to ensure your home is exactly what you dreamed it would be.
